Tinfree Steel (TFS), also called Electrolytic Chromium Coated steel (ECCS) is actually a light gauge, electolytically coated chromium sheet. It is a more economic alternative to tinplate. TFS is an excellent base for organic coatings and lithography. Ideal for CAN ENDS, LOCKSEAMED CAN BODIES, NON-CONTAINER ITEMS.

Black Plate is a light gauge cold rolled steel and is the base metal for all Tinplate and TFS. It is not corrosion resistant but malleable. Used for wide array of products, such as CURTAIN RODS, building supply products, automotive products and toys
